Voices of LCMH
Dear Friends at LCM Hospice,
It may seem unusual to receive a note so late after the passing of a loved one but I wanted to not simply send a card but share my personal thanks for your presence in our lives. As I reflect back since the spring when Virgil was diagnosed, I time and again am overwhelmed with how truly blessed our family has been. We have been surrounded with thoughts, prayers and love by each of you.
This journey we traveled was not one expected by anyone in life but it was one that deepened relationships in many ways and we have grown because of it. These past months since Virgil's passing have had their struggles. Once again the Lord has been faithful to our family. He has watched over us, and helped us through each struggle we have encountered. It would be wrong for me not to give him the praise.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your love and support during Virgil's time of illness and during this time of adjustment since his passing. Thank you for being a part of the celebration of his life that we had at the wake and the funeral. Many expressions of love were given and used towards enabling us to remain in the home that Virgil so lovingly established for us.
We again are grateful. We pray for God's richest blessings in your lives. The Lord truly used each of you to touch our family at just the moment it was needed. We hope that some day we can do the same for others.
