My name is Jean M. Smith and I’m writing this letter to acknowledge two of your employees. My husband, Anthony E. Smith, was admitted to the ICU 26 on April 8, 2010. During his stay, we were given the opportunity to experience Nursing Care at its best!
The entire staff was wonderful, but Bill Brady and Alexis Munoz absolutely stand out. Bill always entered the room with a smile, explained his actions each time (although routine), acknowledged our understanding and always asked if there was anything else he could do before leaving the room. He allowed me to partner in my husband’s care by including me in the conversations with my husband and made sure we were both at ease.
My husband had to have a Cardiac Cath which was unexpected and Alexis did an awesome job explaining the procedure to him EARLY that Friday morning. She sat with me during the procedure although she had already completed her shift! She expressed genuine compassion towards my husband and me
My husband and I have shared his hospital experience with a number of people and each of us would definitely recommend anyone to Little Company of Mary Hospital. We always mention Bill and Alexis!
Mary Ellen, I am a recently Licensed Registered Nurse. I am aware of the stress that comes with the responsibility of caring for someone. I also know that the professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern that were displayed by Bill and Alexis are the things that every good nurse owns. These things must also be a priority for the employer. That being said, I want to thank Bill, Alexis, and Little Company of Mary for such a great experience!
