Little Company of Mary Men’s Prostate Screening Event

The Little Company of Mary Health Education Center invites you to be proactive about your health by participating in the Men’s Prostate Screening Event.  This two-part screening consists of a blood test and prostate exam with a board certified urologist for only $50.00.

 

The American Urological Society continues to recommend prostate screening as the only effective way to screen for prostate cancer. Prostate screening is recommended for all men, especially those who have not seen a urologist in the past year, are older than age 50, have a family history of prostate cancer, or are African-American and older than 40.  Early detection is your best defense against Prostate Cancer!

 

For your convenience, blood tests will be offered on various days and times in August. A board certified urologist will perform physical exams on September 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., September 20 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. and on September 22 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. Both services will be provided at Little Company of Mary Hospital, 2800 West 95^th Street in Evergreen Park.
