Patients get a Ticket to Ride to New State-of-the-Art Patient Tower on Oct. 24

Little Company of Mary (LCM) physicians, nurses and staff  have planned for this day for almost a year.

The scene is set, the patients are ready, and on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, the practice will pay off as patients will be transferred unit by unit, from the current hospital tower to the new 118-private room and bath, 300,000-square-foot building located at 2800 W. 95th St. in Evergreen Park.

The West Pavilion, home to LCM’s Comprehensive Women’s Center for Life and Health, a cornerstone of the Campus Transformation Project, marks the largest construction project in LCM’s 82-year history.  The patient move starts at 9 a.m. This is your guide to covering this historic day.

You can capture the scene tomorrow starting at 9 a.m. by checking out our facebook and twitter page.
