A Full Team of Medical Oncology Professionals
Board-certified oncologists/hematologists from Little Company and the University of Chicago Hospitals collaborate so patients receive the best possible care. The Hospital's Oncology Committee meets quarterly to lead and direct the cancer program. In addition, physicians and other cancer care professionals from all cancer specialties meet weekly to confidentially review patients' cases and make recommendations for follow up and treatment.

Dr. Simona Chivu
Having earned her medical degree from Universitatea Transilvania, Dr. Chivu is a member of the Little Company of Mary's team of Medical Oncologists. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Chivu completed her residency at Michigan State University specializing in Internal Medicine. She additionally completed a fellowship at Michigan State University in Hematology/Oncology.
Dr. Prabodh Shah
Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from the BJ Medical School in India. Dr. Shah is a member of Little Company of Mary's team of Medical Oncologists. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Shah completed his residency at the Veterans Administration West Side Medical Center specializing in Internal Medicine. He additionally completed his fellowship in Hematology.
