The month of November is a time of year when the sacred and the secular combine to bring us together as family and as community to remember the past and embrace the future. We begin the month with All Saints Day honoring the communion of saints who bore testimony to their faith by their words and actions. On All Souls Day we remember our loved ones (our "family-saints") who have gone before us to their eternal reward. We conclude the month by gathering with family and friends to give thanks for the blessings we have received over the past year. And for the communities that comprise the Greater Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers, we have much for which to be thankful.
The completion of our new West Pavilion to receive patients is only a portion of the story we continue to weave through our ongoing Campus Transformation Project. Over the next 18 to 22 months our campus will continue to evolve and change through its final phases of transformation. Our Catholic liturgy from All Souls Day gives us words of wisdom and comfort in the face of change: Vita mutatur, non tollitur - from Latin meaning, "life has changed, not taken away." Indeed, the next months and years will be a time for sharing our many memories-
and creating new ones.
Many thanks to our supporters and donors to the LCMH Foundation; you are remembered daily in the prayers of our LCM Sisters for your unfailing generosity and support.
Holiday blessings to all!
