Little Company of Mary's Pediatric department with its recently remodeled critical care unit can handle most any common childhood hospitalization need. To provide the most complete service to our pediatric patients, Little Company of Mary has a Pediatric Specialist available 24 hours, seven days a week in affiliation with the University of Chicago Hospitals Care is provided by nurses, patient care technicians and pediatric hospitalists. Hospitalists are pediatricians from the University of Chicago Hospitals who work closely with your Little Company of Mary pediatrician, surgeon or other specialists.
We also offer a pediatric critical care unit (PCCU) for children who require frequent, close observation and nursing care.
At Little Company of Mary, we not only care for children's physical health. We offer support groups that also assist with a child's emotional and spiritual health.

Kid Support
Weekly on Thursdays, children ages 6 � 13 living with a family member with cancer are invited to join the Kid Support Program at The Cancer Center at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. This pilot program � conceived by an educator and mom who helped her own child through her cancer � will help children share their experiences and learn coping skills to handle the changes that cancer brings. Pediatric Family Asthma Program
This program is designed for asthmatic pediatric patients and their families.
