Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers (www.lcmh.org), based in Evergreen Park, has delivered technologically advanced services to Chicago's southwest area for more than 70 years. Little Company is a Catholic, not-for-profit hospital that currently brings the community a 318-bed acute care facility; The Cancer Center affiliated with the Medical Oncology Group of the University of Chicago Hospitals; and compassionate care in the Hospital and 10 other nearby locations. The Sisters of the Little Company of Mary are an international congregation of women founded in 1877 in Nottingham, England, whose ministry is the care of the sick and dying. They sponsor the Hospital and provide health care services in more than 12 countries around the globe.
