Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, or certification-eligible within 9 months of employment; licensed by Illinois Department of Professional Regulation; will be required to complete CPR certification and maintain recertification. Requires either: 2 years full time experience in medical setting; with practical experience in dysphagia, including video fluoroscopic dysphagia evaluation, neurogenic speech/language disorders and head and neck cancer speech and swallowing services; or completion of hospital practicum at graduate level of academic training or equivalent in work experience in hospital setting; previous experience in evaluation and treatment of 0-3-year-olds and preschoolers. |
