A level of knowledge normally acquired through graduation of Registered Nurse program from an accredited school. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. The job requires knowledge of a competency in performing nursing care procedures, assessments, treatments and techniques utilized within a physician office or clinic setting. Renders professional nursing services in support of medical care as directed by the physician. Works closely with or may lead other professional and ancillary personnel in providing total nursing care to patients. While actual responsibilities and duties will vary, the following are characteristic of the work performed by a Registered Nurse in an office or clinic environment. |
