Assistant Unit Supervisor (Full-time/Afternoons)

Assists the Manager, Patient Care Services in the management, clinical practice and the staff development activities on a patient care unit.  Provides managerial support and resource for staff including but not limited scheduling and performance reviews.   Renders professional nursing services in support of medical care.  Ten percent of time is spent on department administrative duties. May be called upon to work a different shift, as needed by the unit.  Minimum three years of work experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse preferred.  We require graduation from a Registered Nurse program from an approved school. Current licensure as an RN from the State of Illinois and CPR certification is needed.
