Conducts educational needs assessments for the Operating Room and Peri-Operative areas.  Plans, implements and evaluates all education programs for patient care givers and other professional staff.  Assists in the formulation and evaluation of policies and procedures for assigned speciality areas of nursing.  Coordinates, schedules and conducts seminars, lectures and workshops.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing, current Illinois RN licensure and 5 years Operating Room experience are required.  Educator experience and AORN membership are preferred.  This position is a job share with another Educator.
